To promote the development of pediatrics and carry forward PUMCH’s fine tradition in the field, the 6th PUMCH Pediatrics Forum, hosted by the Department of Pediatrics of PUMCH and co-organized by the Beijing Medical Association and the Bethune Charitable Foundation, was held in the PUMCH Lecture Hall on July 17, 2021. On behalf of the leadership team of the hospital, President Zhang Shuyang, through video, thanked colleagues at home and abroad for their support to the Department of Pediatrics of PUMCH and expressed warm congratulations on the success of the Pediatrics Forum. The meeting utilized both the online and offline channel and its live streaming gained nearly 50,000 views.

The forum benefited participants hugely with the valuable and informative content of academic presentations as well as a touch of medical humanities. The Department of Pediatrics of PUMCH is the cradle of pediatrics in China, and our colleagues in the department will, one generation after another, follow in the footsteps of their predecessors and continue to work hard to honor their legacy.
