In 2021, Peking Union Medical College Hospital will celebrate its centenary anniversary. In appreciation of PUMCH alumni’s continuous care and support to the hospital, the Alumni Liaison Team of Youth Affairs Department established the "PUMCH Alumni Newsletter" biweekly in early 2021, so that PUMCH alumni can learn about the hospital news more timely and conveniently. The electronic journal, with content of news, department updates, and history and culture, selected from hospital official accounts such as "PUMCH Doctors Say" and "Med New Generation", has been warmly welcomed by alumni all over the world.

Nine issues of newsletters with rich content and information have successfully updated up to now. The history and culture column with interviews of senior professors and department director is extremely popular among the alumni. "We have been retired for a couple of years. Hopefully keep in touch down road forever," the wish of being together with PUMCH was expressed in email from a retired alumni couple. Some alumni acknowledged the information shared in each issue, "Wish Peking Union Medical College Hospital better and better! The spirit of PUMCH will last forever!" After watching the online PUMCH Spring Festival Gala, the excitement of the alumni was beyond words: "We are full of surprises and excitement after watching the Spring Festival Gala. We sincerely congratulate PUMCH for its historic achievements. Special thanks to the Alumni Liaison Team!"
