On July 8, 2022, at the launch of the project “Establishment and Application of Precision Diagnosis System for Pediatric Rheumatic and Immunologic Diseases”, a key special project under the National Key R&D Program of China, PUMCH led 35 medical institutions from 22 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions to establish Chinese Alliance of Pediatric Rheumatic & Immunologic Diseases (CAPRID). The alliance will cooperate extensively in the diagnosis and treatment of intractable cases, guideline development, scientific research collaboration and science popularization, jointly promoting the research and technical progress in pediatric rheumatology and immunology in China.
The project “Establishment and Application of Precision Diagnosis System for Pediatric Rheumatic and Immunologic Diseases” aims to build a multicenter research network platform to conduct research on the precision diagnosis and treatment strategies of childhood onset ANCA-associated vasculitis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, childhood classic and monogenic SLE; explore the pathogenesis of various pediatric rheumatic diseases to find the biomarkers and early warning indicators for early diagnosis and accurate clinical typing, and to achieve intelligent follow-up of pediatric immune diseases. At the conference, the CAPRID was formally established, and it will contribute a special issue of “Research on the Mechanisms and Innovative Technologies for Pediatric Autoimmune Diseases” to an internationally renowned pediatric journal.
