On May 17th, 2021, Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) announced the decision of early admission of five participants into the Clinical Postdoctoral Program due to their excellent performance in the 10th China National Contest of Medical Skills and Techniques for College Students.

These five participants, Fu Ziyao, Mei Keyi, Ping Lu, Liang Siyu and Zhou Ziyue, all come from the eight-year clinical medical doctor program of Peking Union Medical College (PUMC). With earnest preparation of more than a hundred days, these young medical students went through diligent training of great intensity, extreme difficulty, and high frequency. The team won the championship in the national contest despite taking part in the contest for the first time. The champion team fought hard against difficulties and obstacles, and demonstrated their charisma and ambition during the process.

The presidential meeting of PUMCH has unanimously decided to honor the five participants, in order to inspire the spirit of PUMC students to climb the peak and continue to make progress. Fu Ziyao, Liang Siyu, and Zhou Ziyue received early admission into grade 2022 Clinical Postdoctoral Program, while Mei Keyi and Ping Lu received early admission into grade 2023 Clinical Postdoctoral Program.
