On March 15, 2021, Peking Union Medical College Hospital Internet Hospital passed the review of Beijing Municipal Health Commission and became the first Internet hospital approved in Beijing.

Up to now, PUMCH has put online 27 departments, including cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, dermatology, rheumatology and immunology, clinical nutrition, etc. It can provide follow-up services for patients with certain common and chronic diseases. Moreover, functions such as in-hospital medical records access, online consultation, one-stop appointment for examination, prescription issuance, drug delivery, and mutual transfer of online and offline consultation appointments are supported by Internet hospital.

PUMCH keeps up with the trend of the times and continues to optimize the Internet diagnosis and treatment process according to the Measures for the Administration of Internet Hospitals, as well as the actual needs of patients.
