The 14th International Rare Disease Day Series Activities Were Held in Beijing

On February 28, 2021, the 14th Rare Disease Day series activities was held in Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The activities were hosted by PUMCH and China Alliance for Rare Diseases and supported by Beijing Society of Rare Disease Clinical Care and Accessibility.

The theme of the activities was “Gathering for Rare disease, Moving forward for love”. The contents included the release of “Clinical Cases of Rare Diseases with MDT in PUMCH (2021)”, multidisciplinary teleconsultation, and Rare Diseases Collaborative Innovation and Development Forum, etc.

Li Dachuan, deputy director-general of Bureau of Medical Administration of National Health Commission, and Li Linkang, executive director of China Alliance for Rare Diseases attended the activities. Zhang Shuyang, president of PUMCH attended the activities online. Hundreds of doctors from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Zhejiang University, Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University participated in the activities remotely.
