Dr. Chen Shi from PUMCH wins 1st prize of 4th national competition of basic skills in teaching for young teachers from medical colleges

The 4th National Competition of Basic Skills in Teaching for Young Teachers from Medical (Pharmaceutical) Colleges was held on November 7-9, 2014. It was sponsored by the Chinese Society of Medical Education under the Chinese Medical Association and the Medical Education Special Committee under the China Association of Higher Education, and organized by Shanxi Medical University. Dr. Chen Shi from the Endocrinology Department participated in the competition on behalf of PUMCH and won the first prize of clinical group by relaying on his carefully prepared teaching plan, logical design, excellent presentation and personal style.

This event represents the highest level competition for teaching among medical colleges in China, which was attended by 94 young teachers from 94 medical (pharmaceutical) colleges including Peking University, Peking Union Medical College, Sichuan University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sun Yat-sen University and the Fourth Military Medical University.
