From May 21st to 23rd, 2021, the 2021 CN-Healthcare Summit was held in Beijing. Welcoming the centenary celebration of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH), a special forum for PUMCH was established on the summit for the first time. Zhang Shuyang, President of PUMCH, and Wu Peixin, Vice President of PUMCH, presided over the main forum. A total of 15 hospital leaders, management experts and discipline leaders launched a lively discussion on the topic of "high-quality development of public hospitals" both onsite and online, sharing PUMCH wisdom and experience with hospital administrators across the country.

At the main forum on the morning of May 22nd, Jiao Yahui, Director of Bureau of Medical Administration, National Health Commission, Academician Ba Denian, Academician Zhan Qimin and Academician Qiao Jie, from Chinese Academy of Engineering, were invited. The four guest speakers made suggestions on "high-quality development of public hospitals" respectively, from the perspectives of policy interpretation, medical education, scientific and technological innovation, and discipline construction.

Many PUMCH dignitaries appeared in several popular sub-forums and brought wonderful sharing.

Why is PUMCH everlasting over a hundred years? This is a hot topic that many hospital administrators concern. On the afternoon of May 22nd, hosted by Han Ding, Vice President of PUMCH, the special forum of PUMCH was full of audience, attracting countless eyes.

In the hall on the second floor of the venue, displayed the theme exhibitions of “Innovative Development of PUMCH” and “Working Together to Fight the Epidemic”. In the online live streaming of "Meet the Authors", three PUMCH experts shared their new books "History of Modern Chinese Hospitals: Peking Union Medical College Hospital" and "PUMCH Doctors Say II", introducing the profound historical and cultural heritage of PUMCH, and the original aspiration of PUMCH staff to protect people's health.
