On February 9, the 2021 Spring Festival Gala of Peking Union Medical College Hospital was broadcast live on the Internet. Six hosts connected 35 wonderful programs from the 13 years of PUMCH Spring Festival Galas, recalling the people and events of the hospital, chatting about the feelings and dreams, dedicating respects to yesterday and bringing hope to the new year.

Spring Festival Gala has been a tradition of PUMCH for many years. This year most PUMCH staff stayed in Beijing during the Spring Festival. In order to enrich the cultural life of our staff, the hospital leaders attach great importance to this year's Spring Festival Gala. After careful planning by many departments, a colorful medical art feast was staged, singing the love for the motherland and the love for PUMCH with the collective memories of PUMCH people. This year's Spring Festival Gala consists of 11 chapters: celebrating the new year, paying homage to anti-epidemic pioneers, versatile PUMCH people, PUMCH highlights, centennial dreams, youth carnival, PUMCH beauties, love to the motherland, songs for the party, march towards a new journey, and New Year's greetings from hospital leaders.

At the end of the gala, hospital leaders collectively sent New Year's greetings and extended their highest respect and heartfelt thanks to hospital staff, to leaders and friends who care about, guide and support the development of PUMCH, and to patients all over the country who have always given understanding, trust and encouragement to PUMCH.

The gala, lively broadcast in 11 platforms including the People's Daily and CN-HEALTHCARE and headlined by multiple channels, was viewed for more than 40 million times, and earned high praises both internally and externally. The most frequently used evaluation keywords are "participation, memories, moved" from the staff, and "talent, responsibility, respect" from the external audience. Looking back on 2020, PUMCH people concentrated their efforts and made solid progress. Looking forward to 2021, PUMCH people are full of confidence and pride. 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of PUMCH and will witness its confidence and resolution to keep bulwarking the well-being of the people and to make greater contributions to Healthy China.
