On December 26th, 2020, the establishment ceremony of the Expert Committee and Quality Management Center of the China Fungal Disease Surveillance System (CFDSS), and the first meeting of the whole committee members were successfully held in Beijing. Meanwhile, it was also the summary meeting of the CFDSS in 2020. The conference was held both online and onsite.
The CFDSS is the nationwide fungal disease surveillance system approved by the Office of the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China. It was officially established on October 18th, 2019. Peking Union Medical College Hospital, as the National Center of the CFDSS, is responsible for the overall planning, designing and daily operation management of the CFDSS. After more than one year's development, a network composed of one national center, 31 provincial centers, and a total of 802 sentinel hospitals covering the whole country had been established. In the future, under the guidance of the Expert Committee and Quality Management Center, the CFDSS will continue to develop steadily and provide high-quality monitoring data of fungal diseases.
The certificates of the Expert Committee of CFDSS were issued to expert representatives at the establishment ceremony.
