On October 6, 2020, the official Wechat account of the Anesthesiology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association released the results of the general election of the World Federation of Anesthesiologists Association (WFSA). Many experts from the Chinese Medical Association Anesthesiology Branch (CSA) were elected to the new council of the World Federation of Anesthesiologists Association (WFSA). Professor Huang Yuguang, director of the Department of Anesthesiology at PUMCH, was successfully re-elected as the executive director of the new WFSA. PUMCHers are playing an important and active role in the international academic arena.
