Introduction
Founded in 1921, Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) is designated by the National Health Commission as one of the national referral centers offering diagnostic and therapeutic care of complex and rare disorders. PUMCH has topped the “China's Hospital Rankings” for 11 consecutive years and has ranked the first in the national performance evaluation of tertiary public hospitals. PUMCH has 57 clinical and medical departments, 20 National Key Disciplines, and 29 National Key Clinical Specialties. Meanwhile, 16 national/provincial research platforms were established, making PUMCH the core national base for medical research and technology innovation.
The State Key Sci-tech Infrastructure for Translational Medicine (PUMCH) will be completed by the end of 2020 and put into use in 2021. Moreover, the State Key Laboratory of Complex Severe and Rare Diseases has been approved for construction, and will be evaluated in 2 years.
PUMCH cordially invites leading researchers at home and abroad (to conduct research at the State Key Sci-tech Infrastructure for Translational Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Complex Severe and Rare Diseases), to contribute to the scientific and technological innovation of PUMCH in the next hundred years.
