On March 12, 2025, Professor Nicolaas H. (Niek) Sperna Weiland, anesthesiologist at Amsterdam University Medical Center and Research Director of the Center for Sustainable Healthcare, visited PUMCH. He toured the operating rooms of the Department of Anesthesiology and engaged in deep discussions with Dr. Shen Le and the team on the application of green hospital principles and sustainable development practices in the field of anesthesiology.
