On May 19, 2025, Sir Sebastian Wood KCMG, Chairman of Schroders China and incoming Chair of the China-Britain Business Council, visited PUMCH. A distinguished British diplomat, Sir Sebastian served as the British Ambassador to China from 2010 to 2015 and as the British Ambassador to Germany from 2015 to 2020. He held detailed discussions with Vice President Du Bin, followed by a tour of the PUMCH History Museum with his delegation.
