NHC Key Laboratory of Endocrinology

The NHC (National Health Commission) Key Laboratory of Endocrinology is positioned as a "translational medicine research center targeting clinical issues in endocrine and metabolic diseases". It focuses on risk assessment, early detection, and rational intervention for chronic endocrine and metabolic diseases; early diagnosis and precision treatment of endocrine tumors; and clinical and basic research on hereditary endocrine and metabolic diseases. Over the past five years, the laboratory has undertaken more than 100 national and provincial-level projects, published over 200 papers (IF > 5.0), received more than 10 national and provincial-level awards for scientific and technological achievements, and completed over 100 clinical studies. The research outcomes have been widely adopted by domestic and international diagnosis and treatment guidelines and consensus statements. The center has led or participated in the development of over 60 clinical guidelines/consensus for endocrine-related diseases.
