PUMCH International Student Short-term Visiting Program aims to serve as an academic bridge connecting Chinese healthcare with global medical communities. This program offers international medical students unparalleled opportunities to experience China's healthcare system firsthand while fostering cross-cultural professional exchanges between Chinese medical trainees and their global counterparts. Since its restart in 2023, this program has welcomed a steady influx of medical students from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Singapore, Russia, and Thailand.

During this program, students will experience:

- Comprehensive Clinical Exposure: Participants can rotate through nearly 40 clinical departments including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Neurology, Traditional Chinese Medicine. Based on students’ academic interests and departments’ capacity, 1-3 month placements with 1-4 department selections can be customized.

- Structured Learning: Personalized visiting plans integrating departmental workflows with individual learning objectives.

-  Cultural Immersion: Opportunities for professional interaction with both PUMCH medical students and staff.
