On July 1, 2025, PUMCH launched a medical imaging technology training program for Belt and Road Initiative countries. Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by PUMCH's Department of Radiology, this program draws on the department's advanced imaging techniques and rich teaching experience. The well-designed curriculum included cutting-edge applications of advanced imaging techniques, hands-on workshops on state-of-the-art CT and MR scanners, and clinical case analysis, attracting 28 medical professionals from seven countries: Romania, Gambia, Bulgaria, Myanmar, Nepal, Kazakhstan, and Nigeria.

PUMCH Vice President Du Bin warmly welcomed the international participants at the opening ceremony. He briefly introduced PUMCH's time-honored history, medical excellence and overall development and expressed China's commitment to strengthening healthcare partnerships with Belt and Road countries.

Dr. Feng Feng, Director of Radiology, presented the department's capabilities, advanced equipment, and major accomplishments. The impressive overview left participants excited about the learning opportunities ahead.
