Recently, “Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in China: A National Report of 2020” (hereinafter referred to as the report) was published. The report was jointly sponsored and compiled by the National Clinical Research Center for Dermatologic and Immunologic Diseases (NCRC-DID) and the Chinese Rheumatism Data Center (CRDC) and gives an all-round presentation on the diagnosis and treatment, clinical features, status quo, existing problems and challenges, and future prospects of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in China over the past decade. Mr. Zeng Xiaofeng, Director of NCRC-DID and Director of the Department of Rheumatology of PUMCH, said: “This is the world’s first report on SLE, and it is of great significance to facilitate progresses in SLE diagnosis and treatment globally.”
