On November 20, 2021, Hospital Management Institute, Fudan University released the 2020 China Hospital Ranking and PUMCH ranks first, for the 12th time consecutively.

For the 42 specialties covered in the comprehensive ranking list, PUMCH has 27 specialties that rank among the top 10: nine specialties rank first, and they are Radiology, Rheumatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Neurology, Nuclear Medicine, Emergency, Intensive Care Unit and Allergy; four specialties rank second, and they are the Department of Pathology, Anesthesiology, Endocrinology, Clinical Laboratory; and the rest 14 specialties rank third to tenth.

This is a new ranking result that PUMCH gets after its centennial celebration. It is an honor for PUMCHers but it also pushes us to work harder; the quest for better healthcare quality and specialty reputation knows no end. The achievements only reflect the past and we must work relentlessly to keep improving discipline development and healthcare quality. We will not slack off, not even for one minute.
