On October 28, 2021, a ceremony was held to recognize hospitals selected as China Designated Hospital for Winter Olympics, and PUMCH is one of them. Dignitaries attended the ceremony included Jin Dapeng, Medical Director of China Winter Olympics Healthcare Services Program, Hong Ping, Deputy Director of the Winter Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sports of China (GASC), Dong Li, Deputy Director of the Medical Support Department of the Winter Sports Management Center of GASC, Wu Peixin, Vice President of PUMCH, Du Bin, Vice President of PUMCH.

During the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, PUMCH will send medical personnel to the site of skiing events and medical service stations to provide medical support, and will also provide outpatient, emergency and inpatient services to relevant personnel. PUMCH will avail itself of this opportunity to further strengthen medical service capacity, explore and promote the integration of sports and health so as to protect people’s health in all aspects and stages.
