On September 4, 2021, the Hospital Leaders Forum of High-Quality Development, as one of the important events celebrating the centenary of PUMCH, was held at the Lecture Hall of PUMCH. A multitude of domestic and foreign experts and scholars gathered together, online or offline, and discussed and shared insights on high-quality development of hospitals. Li Bin, Vice Minister of the National Health Commission, attended the event and delivered a speech.

Zhang Shuyang, President of PUMCH, delivered a keynote speech titled “PUMCH Pursuing High-Quality Development in the Next One Hundred Years”, elaborating on how public hospitals can achieve higher-level, more efficient, more dynamic, more sustainable and safer development under the new circumstances. Ning Guang, President of Ruijin Hospital, Qiao Jie, President of Peking University Third Hospital, Li Weimin, President of West China Hospital, and Gao Jiechun, Director of Hospital Management Institute of Fudan University, each delivered a keynote speech. Managerial leaders from Mayo Clinic, SingHealth from Singapore, Beth Israel Lacey Health and the University of Chicago also shared valuable insights by video. The forum was chaired by Wu Peixin, Vice President of PUMCH.
