The history of PUMCH covers half the history of modern medicine in China. As the important birthplace of modern medicine in China, PUMCH has always been at the forefront and has exerted significant impact on the development of modern medicine in China. Having walked through a century of glorious history, PUMCH is looking into the future with the same determination and dedication. To celebrate the upcoming centennial anniversary, the president and vice president of PUMCH took the role of chief editors and gathered the elites of the hospital to work together. The team sorted out the centennial history, summarized the experience and documented inheritance from PUMCH pioneers. After nearly four years of careful preparation, the book was finally released.
