On September 29, 2020, the National March 8th Red Flaggers (collective) in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic was held online in Beijing. Sun Chunlan, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, and Shen Yueyue, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Chairman of the All-China Women's Federation, presented awards to the commended individuals and collective representatives. The National Hubei-aid Anti-epidemic Medical Team of PUMCH was awarded the honorary title of the National March 8th Red Flaggers (collective); Party Secretary Zhang Shuyang and the Party Branch Secretary of Department of Gynaecology and Department of Pediatrics Sun Hong were awarded the honorary title of the National March 8th Red Flaggers.
