Prof. Huang Yuguang Awarded Title “Honorary Fellow” by CAI

On May 23, 2018, Professor Huang Yuguang, chairman designate of Society of Anesthesiology, Chinese Medical Association, and director of the Department of Anesthesiology, PUMCH, was awarded the title of “honorary fellow” at the annual meeting of College of Anesthetists of Ireland (CAI) held in Dublin. People receiving the same honor were Dr. Michael Daniel Higgins, president of Ireland, and Professor Linda J. Mason, president elect of American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).

The honorary fellowship is the CAI highest honor for experts and scholars who excel in the fields of anesthesiology, intensive care and pain treatment. Recipients of the honor also included Dr. Mary McAleese, former president of Ireland, and Professor William C. Campbell, who received the 2015 Nobel Prize.
