In 2015, the National Health and Family Planning Commission carried out a “Further Improving Medical Service Program” among medical institutions across China. PUMCH won many awards from competitions held by the Health News and other media of the health community.

Entrusted by the Bureau of Medical Administration under the Commission, the “2015 competitions for service improvement” hosted by the Health News have revealed its results. PUMCH won the award of “innovative hospital for service improvement”, and its MDT center for pancreatic diseases won the award of “quality service”. There were only three hospitals across China that won two awards at the same time.

Results of a competition among Chinese hospitals, guided by the Administration and hosted by the health community, were revealed on December 12. At an experience exchange co-hosted by health media and PUMCH, PUMCH won the awards of “excellent administration for the year” and “demonstrative hospital for innovative service”. It had three cases on the list of “top ten valuable cases” and two cases on the list of “annual top ten”.
