In order to improve service and meet patients’ high expectation for delivery experience and results, the International Medical Services, based on non-pharmaceutical analgesia theory, innovated traditional nursing mode and created full-course accompanied nursing. The aim is to increase the rate of natural delivery, reduce pain and boost the experience and satisfaction of patients and their families.

Unlike traditional midwifing, the new mode consists of guidance upon hospitalization, company upon delivery, company in ward and postpartum support. The new mode, after a year, has resulted in an obviously reduced total labor time, an increase of 11% in natural birth and obviously reduced occurrence of complications. A third-party survey showed an increase of 12% in patient satisfaction.
