At 1am, August 16, 2014, Associate Professor Long Yun from the ICU department of PUMCH, as one of the nine members of China’s first medical team to fight Ebora, set out from Beijing International Airport for Guinea for an emergency task in three African countries. Long stayed there for a month.
For more than ten years, Long has been fighting at the front line of serious infectious diseases including SARS, influenza A and bird flu. His excellent clinical ability and rich experience have played a guiding role in local control of the diseases and treatment of critical patients.
