PUMCH kicks off 3 state projects of scientific research for public interest

On the afternoon of June 18, PUMCH kicked off at the academic hall 3 state projects of scientific research for public interest in 2014, which were won by the hospital through bidding.

Financed by state treasury, such public-interest projects are for State Council departments in charge of certain industries to carry out scientific research in key fields for emergency, cultivation and basic purposes.

The three projects of PUMCH are: “the establishment of diagnosis and treatment mode that is scientific, refined and multi-disciplinary” led by academician Zhao Yupei,“the construction and promotion of safety management system for anesthesia in modern surgeries” led by Professor Yu Xiaochu, and “the standardized application and technical standard study of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in the diagnosis and treatment of critical illness” led by Professor Jin Zhengyu.
