On April 30, 2018, at the 66th annual meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Austin, Texas, Professor Lang Jinghe, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, PUMCH, was awarded the title “Honorary Fellow” by ACOG. This is the first time that ACOG, which has a huge global influence, conferred the title on a medical specialist from non-American countries and regions.

The honorary fellowship is the highest degree of honor ACOG gives to scientists who are distinguished in global women healthcare.
