On the afternoon of January 3, 2018, a national conference on improving medical services was held in Beijing, at which PUMCH Vice President Han Ding delivered a speech. In a document on improved medical services 2015-2017, our hospital was elected a “Quality Service Demonstrative Hospital” under the themes of “Rationally Allotted Resources”, “Optimized Nursing” and “Medical Safety Guarantee”, and also received the award of “Excellent Publicity for Improved Medical Services”.

On the morning of February 3, a conference was held in Beijing to sum up the first-stage three-year efforts at improving medical services and to launch next-stage publicity, which was co-hosted by the Bureau of Medical Administration under the National Health and Family Planning Commission and Health News. PUMCH received the award of “2017 Demonstrative Hospital on Improved Medical Services”. Zhu Weiguo, executive vice director of our Information Administration Office, received the award of “2017 Excellent Organizer for Improved Medical Services”.
