PUMCH Signs Coop Agreement with University of Chicago Medical Center

On the afternoon of October 13, 2017, a PUMCH delegation led by Vice President Zhang Shuyang visited the University of Chicago Medical Center and the two sides signed a cooperation agreement.

Established in 1890, the University of Chicago was also funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, therefore sharing a historical link with PUMCH. The neatly organized signing ceremony saw speeches from Ms. Sharon O’Keefe, CEO and President of the Medical Center, and Mr. Zhang Shuyang, Vice President of PUMCH. They looked back at the shared historical background of the two institutions, their cooperation and results, and looked into all-round collaboration in the future. This new agreement will further cooperation between the two sides in education, research and academic fields.

The signing ceremony was also witnessed by eight PUMCH residents visiting the university. A discussion among residents was also held to give suggestions on improving the resident exchange program.
